U RIP RESORT
The U Rip Resort on Koh Phi Phi is very easy to find. And when you arrive at the pier someone from the resort is already waiting for you. You recognize the staff on the sign with the name U Rip Resort. That welcoming gesture is quite nice because it can be quite busy and hectic at the Ton Sai Pier. Your suitcase or backpack is loaded on a car so that you don’t have to carry it yourself, you are on a holiday now! From the pier it is a ten minute walk through the pleasant streets of Ton Sai Village with restaurants, massage salons and souvenir shops.

After checking in you will be brought to your room with an electric golf cart, this because most of the rooms are located a bit higher on the hill. Even if you want to go from your room to the reception you can call them and they will pick you up immediately. Day and night! We never had to wait longer than a few minutes and the service was always with a smile as everywhere in the resort!

Ocean View!
Because the rooms are located on a hill, you have a beautiful panoramic view. All rooms at the U Rip Resort have a balcony with seating and the rooms overlook the ocean. We had one of the highest rooms with a spectacular view. Because of this it was wonderful to wake up every morning and enjoy the evening with a drink!
Because the hotel is a bit further from the busy area you are assured of a good night’s sleep and that is not everywhere on Koh Phi Phi. Feel like partying? A short evening walk in the sultry evening air through the shopping streets of Phi Phi and you are right in the middle of it!

We really could tell that it was a new resort (we were there mid-2019). Everything looked very neat and brand new. The bed was crisp and clean and in the room there was an air conditioner, kettle, fridge, bathrobes and even slippers. In addition to free water, there were also a few free snacks that were refilled every day. Service sometimes can be found in small things and the U Rip Resort understands that very well!

The clean bathroom has a toilet, sink, hair dryer and walk-in shower. In addition to a normal shower head, there is also a rain shower. Towels, shampoo, shower gel and conditioner were all thought of! During our stay at the U Rip Resort on Koh Phi Phi we have really missed nothing!

Beach, swimming pool and location
U Rip Resort is located at the end of Ton Sai Beach. Near the reception and the restaurant a small stretch of sea is fenced off so you can swim safely. Be aware that when tide is low, part of the sea will be dry. With a few steps and a splash you are in the big pool. And for your info there is also a shallow pool for small children. The restaurant is also located on the beach side, so you always have a sea view. Near U Rip the walkway to Long Beach can be found.Long Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches of Koh Phi Phi and one of our personal favorite places to hang out and relax for a (half) day. When you walk the opposite direction are walking towards Ton Sai Village, the village of Phi Phi island. Everything is nearby while you are assured of a good night’s sleep.
