TERMINAL 21

In Terminal 21 you fly across the world in one day! Every floor in Terminal 21 refers to a worldwide well known town. London, Paris, Tokyo, Istanbul, San Francisco and Rome are all represented here in the 6 floors of Terminal 21. The theme is visible in the decoration of the different departments and is even implemented in the toilets that are also worth a look. The signage (which you can use well) is shown as it is done at an airport, hence the name Terminal. Terminal 21 is worth a visit just for the special decorations!

Terminal 21 is not as high end as shopping malls like Siam Paragon and ICONSIAM buts also not as cheap as for example MBK Center or Platinum Fashion Mall. There are many small shops of local modern Thai brands and designers which can be quite refreshing. Of course there are clothing stores like Mango and H&M and there are several well-known brands like Levi’s and Lacoste on offer.

Food Court Pier 21, quality and affordability

Terminal 21 is also famous for the Food Court Pier 21 on the fifth floor. Pier 21 is loved for its quality, wide choice and affordability of food. It is probably also the cheapest food court compared to other shopping malls because for a main course you pay around 50 baht. The prices even compete with those of the food stalls on the street and the nice clean restaurant with air conditioning you get for free. Food Court Pier 21 is also an ideal way to get acquainted with the local Thai dishes for when the food stalls on the street take you a step too far. Because this place is so popular you will sometimes have to wait for a table.

If you are finished with dining or your legs can’t move on anymore because of all that shopping than stop at SF Cinema on the 6th floor. In this cinema you have the possibility to choose for example from an adjustable 2-person sofa. A ticket costs 650 baht for 2 persons. Thai movies have English subtitles and English movies have Thai subtitles.

TIP!
Do you want a special cinema experience? Then take a look at Quartier Cine-Art in EmQuartier. There you can choose from four different cinemas, each with its own specialty!
