RAILAY VILLAGE RESORT
The Railay Village Resort is located directly on the beautiful Railay West beach. This beach is surrounded by beautiful giant limestone rock formations. Because of these rock formations Krabi Railay Beach can only be reached by boat. The location quickly gives you the idea that you are based on an island, which is not the case! The longtail boat ride takes 15 minutes and costs 100 baht per person.
If you travel with the longtail boat from Ao Nang Beach, Railay West is the beach you arrive on. It is then only a short walk crossing the beach to the reception of the Railay Village Resort. At the reception they will wait for you with a cold towel and a refreshing drink! While you check in, the bags are brought to your room. Your holiday has begun!

Dining by the sea
On the beach of Railay West, you will also find the resorts restaurant where, among other things, the breakfast buffet is served. You can also visit the Krua Village Restaurant for lunch and dinner. For coffee lovers, there is the Railay Coffee Shop on site. Because the restaurant is located on Railay West you can watch the sun go down while enjoying your dinner!
Good to know is that the hotel doesn’t sell alcohol but that you can get it somewhere else and take it to the resort.

Special environment
The Railay Village Resort overlooks huge limestone rock formations and a beautiful well-kept garden. The resort has two swimming pools, the first one is near the beach, restaurant and reception. The second and largest swimming pool is a little further on the resort grounds and is surrounded by beautiful trees and flowers, a wonderful tropical paradise!

Deluxe Pool View, great room!
During our stay at the Railay Village Resort we slept in the Deluxe Pool View on the 1st floor, these rooms are a staircase and 2 steps away from the largest swimming pool in the resort. From our balcony we looked at the swimming pool, palm trees and limestone rock formations. Underneath us was another Deluxe Pool View room, which had a terrace instead of a balcony.

When we entered the room we immediately had a good feeling. The room had many windows, a beautiful wooden floor and was generously decorated in various places with tropical flowers from the garden. There was a personal text with the artfully folded swan towels. The room also smelled fresh and clean. In short, a nice and warm welcome!!

The room was so spacious that it was more like an apartment. In the corridor there was a cupboard with bathrobes and a safe. There was also a dressing table with a hair dryer in the hallway. Next to the entrance, in the hallway, there was a lockable door to the adjacent room, which can be useful if you are traveling with children or a group.
In the room there was a lounge sofa that could possibly be used as an extra bed. In addition to our king-size bed, there was a system with which you could arrange the air conditioning and lighting. With this device we also could indicate that we did not want to be disturbed or that our room should need to be cleaned. As a result, everything was comfortably within reach. In addition to the stocked minibar, there was also a flat screen TV and a DVD player. There was nothing left to be desired for us!

Neat and tidy
The bathroom we found very spacious and had a bath and a separate shower. The care products we received were extensive, in addition to toothbrushes, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion and razor blades, there was also mosquito repellent. There was a card on the toilet with the text; cleaned and disinfected. We believed that immediately, because here too everything looked neat and tidy!
You can choose to get new towels every day or to take the environment into account and use your towel again. We see this more and more often in Thailand and we believe that this is a great initiative!

Outdoors by the pool
Almost immediately in front of our room were two lovely sun loungers with thick pillows and a beach umbrella on the edge of the large swimming pool. In the beautifully designed long swimming pool bubbles and jet streams are located at different places and turned on at set times! In the evening, the trees around the pool are fairy-tale lit. This gives the site a particularly beautiful sight in the evening.

Jacuzzi Villas, Family Suites and a Honeymoon Suite
In addition to the Deluxe Pool View rooms, the Railay Village Resort also has a number of other rooms and bungalows. There are the Jacuzzi Villas, these are bungalows of 50 m2 and have a private veranda and of course a jacuzzi! The Family Suites are no less than 75 m2 in size and have a separate living room and two bedrooms, they can accommodate up to four people. The Honeymoon Suite is 60 m2 and can sleep up to three people. The bungalows are closer to the beach than the Deluxe Pool View rooms but also from the Deluxe Pool View rooms it is only a few minutes walk to the beach, so the beach is always close!

Good location
The Railay Village Resort is practically around the corner from Railay Walking Street, the street with restaurants, massage salons, shops and travel agencies. The beautiful beach at the resort is right next to Ao Ton Sai bay, this place is less touristy but definitely worth a visit! At low tide you can visit the location by walking there and at high tide you can rent a kayak at the resort for a short peddle. From the resort there is a shortcut to Ao Phra Nang Beach (15 min walk). This is the famous beach in Railay with its spectacular limestone rock formations that you absolutely must see before you leave Railay! The eastern beach of Railay is approximately a 7-minute walk from the resort, the eastern side of Railay is not really suitable for swimming, but there are more nice restaurants and bars here.

Besides renting kayaks also tours can be booked at the Railay Village Resort reception to, for example, surrounding islands and snorkeling locations. At the resort they can also arrange private transport to your next destination such as, Krabi (International Airport), Phuket Town, Patong, Trang and so on. Safe travels!

Railay does not have large clubs or other large-scale entertainment venues, but that’s the charm of Railay! Is there nothing to do in the evening? Sure there is! In Railay Walking Street there are a number of bars where you can chill out and have a drink. Along Railay East is a (partly elevated) concrete path where a number of nice bars can be found. Almost at the end of the concrete path is the Tew Lay Bar. This bar has a very cool terrace with beautiful views over the bay of Railay East. To get there you keep following the path of Railay East in a northerly direction. The Tew Lay Bar is a bit further than the Last Bar (which is not the last bar). From the floating pier on the east side of Railay you are about 10 minutes away. Have fun!
