POPULAR NEIGHBOURHOODS IN BANGKOK

There are several popular neighborhoods in Bangkok, which is not so strange because the capital is no less than 1,5000 square kilometers and has more than 8 million inhabitants! To keep everything a bit clear, Bangkok is divided into different neighborhoods.

When travelling to Bangkok it is useful to have an idea of what you would like to see. For example, are you interested in going out and meeting many other travelers? Then Khao San Road or Rambuttri Road is a good option for you. If you like authentic things more then you have a choice between Old Town and China Town. Do you go for hypermodern shopping and sky bars? Then Siam Square is the place to be!

Of course you’re not stuck in an area and in many cases the BTS (sky train), MRT (metro) and Chao Phraya River Express is the way to go from neighborhood to neighborhood. But it would be a waste of your time and money if you sleep on Khao San Road but spend your time in the shopping malls of Siam Square and have to travel back and forth all the time.

That is why we have described the popular neighborhoods in Bangkok and the accompanying attractions and sights for you. IN this way you will get a bit of guidance in the always busy but super cool capital of Thailand!
