PERCEPTION BLIND MASSAGE
A wonderful initiative where we only can be positive about!! At Perception Blind Massage, all massages are performed by employees with a visual impairment. You pay a little more than the average massage parlor, many of which can be found in Bangkok, but you certainly get quality in return. If you want to go here, a reservation is highly recommended because Perception Blind is regularly fully booked, that says something!

Massage by blind people
Upon entering you immediately notice that Perception Blind Massage is not a standard massage salon. You will be welcomed with a drink and a cold towel. You will then receive a card with the details of the masseur. In this way you will not only find out what visual impairment the masseur has but also what his future dreams are and what massage education and experience he / she has already gained. All masseurs have had massage training and are certified and most masseurs speak (some) English.

The massage you receive can be adjusted to your own specific wishes. Before the massage takes place, complete a form on which you can indicate which areas require extra attention. such as stuck shoulders or a sore back. You can also indicate this on the form if you want them to skip an area precisely because you have an injury, for example. You also can indicate whether you want a firm, medium or soft massage. Inspirational texts
Perception Blind Massage now has 3 branches, we were in Perception Silom. The interior of this establishment was clean and cozy. The foot massages are performed in a quiet room with comfortable seats and there were private rooms for the Thai and oil massage that we received. Throughout the building there are beautiful inspiring texts that refer to, among other things, the visual limitations that the masseurs of Perception Blind have.

The massages we had were both of good quality and you could tell that our personal wishes were taken into account. A few stubborn knots were even massaged away! During the massage there was a gentle knock on the door and asked if everything was satisfactory. We found it definitely worth repeating! Not only because the massages were of good quality, but also because we think it is a good idea that Perception Blind Massage offers employment to people who have a visual impairment and at the same time talents are utilized and developed. Highly recommended if you ask us!
