OCTAVE ROOFTOP LOUNGE & BAR
Octave Rooftop Lounge & Bar is situated in the middle of the Thonglor area and on top of the luxurious 5 star Bangkok Marriott Hotel Sukhumvit. Although Octave is just outside the center of Bangkok, the sky bar is very easy to reach with the BTS. Don’t miss it because Octave Rooftop Lounge & Bar has not one, not two but three beautiful floors to spend the evening at!
Bangkok Marriott Hotel Sukhumvit, an amazingly beautiful hotel and close to a Sky Train station.
On the 45th floor there is a beautiful open-air restaurant that regularly plays R&B and pop music. On the top two floors, mainly drinks are served, but you can also get a snack there. From the Octave Rooftop Bar, the highest floor of the building you have a super 360 degree unobstructed view of Bangkok. Unobstructed view means in this case no other higher buildings that obstruct your view of the bustling city, so very beautiful!
In the middle of the top floor there is an illuminated round bar and there is a DJ that provides a chill atmosphere. Hope for a dry evening because the bar is completely open-air and will be closed when it rains. We were unlucky but were allowed to take a look by exception. It looked promising and the 360 degree view was spectacular despite the rain! We will definitely come back to watch a great sunset!

Cocktails & Happy Hour!
The price for a cocktail is between 370 and 450 baht, for a Mojito you pay 370 baht and for the more luxurious signature cocktails you pay between 410 and 450 baht. A soda costs 160 baht and 250 baht for a Heineken / Shinga (prices 2019). Actually fairly normal prices for a sky bar in Bangkok. Octave Rooftop Lounge & Bar also has happy hour between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m., you will receive a 50% discount on drinks! The choice of drinks is then somewhat more limited. Nice is that there are also nice seating areas so that you can really enjoy your cocktail and the beautiful view.
Thai fusion tapas
Octave’s restaurant serves Thai fusion dishes such as Asian-style tapas dishes. It is also possible to order sushi or sashimi, the price varies between 270 and 340 baht for 2 pieces. This way you can put together your own menu, fun to try and of course to share! The menu boxes (cold or warm) for 1,550 baht are also nice to share. Still feel like a quick bite? Hot dogs are also sold on the 46th floor!
