– What else is there to do on Koh Lanta?
A super nice resort where it’s nice and quiet! Twin Lotus is an adults only resort meaning that no children under the age of 18 are able to stay there. The resort has several swimming pools, a good restaurant and numerous options when it comes to rooms and bungalows. How about a bungalow overlooking the sea and Klong Dao Beach? Nice for waking up, right? The bathrooms are amazingly beautiful and the bed is very comfortable. Highly recommended if you are looking for luxury and tranquility on Koh Lanta for a few days! The Avani hospitality brand is not an unknown name in Thailand! They manage several resorts and all of them are very well rated on the various online booking sites. It’s therefore not strange that they have taken over the Crown Lanta Resort because of the good reviews this resort already had! The resort is not far from Saladan Village and pier where you arrive when visiting Koh Lanta. The beach of Klong Dao is within walking distance. There are rooms directly at the pool (with or without pool access) but also rooms overlooking the ocean. Do you really want to stay super deluxe then you can choose from the Ocean View Pool Villa or even better the Grand Panorama Pool Villa! A crown on the work of Avani + Koh Lanta, WOW what a view this pool villa has to offer!

By the way, we had one of the best massages ever in Thailand. A couples massage that we are still talking about, so good it was! The resort also has some great restaurants including the Reggae Bar (also possible to eat here while you’re not sleeping at this fabulous resort). The location of the restaurant is great! Tasty tapas and cocktails with sublime sea views!
Lanta Casa Blanca is sandwiched between the small beach of Relax Beach and the main road of the island. The resort has a super fine and large swimming pool of 321 m2 including sea view! There are five different type of bungalows where you can also choose from a pool villa. The standard bungalow is already very spacious and you will certainly not come short of anything! The bungalow also has its own terrace where you can relax after a day exploring Koh Lanta! The Pimalai Resort & Spa is located near Kantiang Bay on Koh Lanta. An incredibly beautiful and spacious resort. It’s not unexpectedly also the most expensive resort in our list of best luxury hotels on Koh Lanta. You can choose from several rooms and villas where the cheapest option is the Deluxe Room, which is already beautiful! The room is 48 m2 and has a private balcony. Of course there are also pool villas to book at the Pimalai Resort! The resort has several good restaurants such as RAK Talay and a fabulous spa department. There are also two large swimming pools (30 meters and 50 meters long), the largest of which has a spectacular view over the bay of Kantiang.

There are also villas with ocean views, a private pool, 2 bedrooms including breakfast from € 562,-. Transportation to Krabi airport is included in the price for the whole group.
At 100 meters walking distance from the beach of Kantiang Bay you will find Baan Puteri Lanta. A perfect location for the family if you want to spend the night near the beautiful bay of Kantiang. The bungalows are clean and the staff is very friendly and attentive. There are 13 villas so it never seems overcrowded on site. The neat villas are spacious and fully equipped and super clean. The resort has larger villas especially for families, which makes families feel at home here as well. A nice place to sleep with good value for money!
Layana Resort & Spa is located on the longest beach on Koh Lanta, aptly named Long Beach! The resort is time and again well rated by thousands of visitors – that says it all! Everything here is fantastic, especially the excellent service, and it is nice and peaceful because there are no children under the age of 18 years.
The rooms are modern and leave nothing to be desired. Different styles of rooms include the superb Garden Pavilion of 49 m2 with a spacious balcony. Or if you want to kick it up a notch you can book the secluded privacy of La Maison, where you can easily stay with four people as the pavilion is no less than 265 m2! This villa comes complete with living room, kitchen, 2 spacious bedrooms and its own private pool! WOW!

Koh Lanta is a lovely island to explore by scooter or car. You bypass the high taxi prices and you can visit nice places at your leisure. We have a very good experience with Lanta Sky. You can rent a scooter or car from them that they bring and pick up again when it suits you best. If you want to rent a car you have to leave your passport, that is Koh Lanta everywhere. Renting a scooter without your passport is often possible when you pay a few thousand baht deposit. Are you going to Mu Koh Lanta National Park? Then ask for a powerful scooter, especially if you want to go with two people on a scooter. The roads to the National Park go up a lot and that calls for some extra power.
