Krabi Town is not immediately at the top of most tourists’ list to visit. Many people make a short stop in the city when they are in transit. The airport of Krabi is less than 15 kilometers away. The center has a nice, less touristy Night Market with delicious snacks, fun gadgets and live performances. The famous Tiger Cave Temple, a must visit, can also be reached in 15 minutes. A little further away at 60 kilometers is the famous Emerald Pool & Blue Pool. Here you can cool off in the middle of nature in beautiful surroundings. You can warm up again in the nearby Hot Springs! Krabi has a lot to offer!

Ao Nang is a tourist resort full of good restaurants and hotels. From Ao Nang you can easily book transportation at the many travel agencies. Besides Railay, Koh Phi Phi and Phang Nga are very popular and often until the day of departure easy to book. In Ao Nang you can also book snorkel trips to surrounding islands, such as the 4 islands tour. With the airport (Krabi International Airport) at 25 kilometers distance, Ao Nang is an excellent base to explore Krabi and its surroundings.

Krabi is known for its beautiful limestone cliffs along the equally beautiful coastline. The place that excels in this is the peninsula Railay. The beautiful beaches of Railay are surrounded by high jagged limestone cliffs. Railay is therefore world famous for its climbing possibilities against the steep limestone cliffs. If you like rock climbing and beautiful beaches Railay is the place to be! You can easily reach the beautiful beaches of Railay via Ao Nang or Krabi Town.
