CRYSTAL BAY / SILVER BEACH
Crystal Bay, also called Silver Beach, is a paradise bay between Chaweng Beach and Lamai Beach. Crystal Bay is a 250 meter long bay dotted with large boulders. The palm trees and green hills complete the tropical picture. The usually calm sea slowly deepens, making Crystal Bay also a fine beach for families with small children. The seawater is clear and there are some colourful fish to be found. The most chance to see fish is when you go snorkeling near the rocks.

Undisterbaly relaxing at Crystal Bay!
There are a few luxury resorts with beautiful bungalows on the beach of Crystal Bay. Luckily the beach is freely accessible and there is also enough space for day trippers to put down a towel. Besides the restaurants of the resorts located here, there are also a few restaurants that sell tasty Thai and western dishes. Not cheap but reasonable. You don’t see any sellers on the beach here by the way. So you can relax undisturbed. In the shade of the palm trees, delicious massages and various beauty treatments are offered. You can easily entertain yourself for a day if you feel like chilling out.
TIP!
The Songthaew (red bus) brings you easily to Crystal Bay, the Songthaew in Chaweng Beach also makes a stop here.
