Less than 100 meters from the beach of Klong Dao the Oasis Yoga Bungalows are located. A group of bungalows or villas on a beautiful terrain with swimming pool. Really a place where you can relax for a few days! The bungalows of the resort are suitable for two persons and the villas have two bedrooms and are ideal for a family or group larger than four persons. The staff is extremely friendly and you will soon feel at home here! They also take nature into account as much as possible, something we always appreciate! Long Beach Chalet is very much appreciated by the many visitors who have already stayed here and for good reason! This accommodation is located on Long Beach and close to restaurants, bars and supermarkets. The perfect base to explore Koh Lanta! There are plenty of rooms to book such as the Deluxe Loft with balcony and your own personal lounge! Or how about the most expensive option, a villa of 53 m2 overlooking the beach? You get your own spa bath on your terrace overlooking the sea, super nice right?! Not an own spa bath? There is also a pool overlooking the sea, with the view it’s okay anyway!
At the cozy Klong Khong Beach you find the Coco Lanta Eco Resort. The resort has affordable rooms for couples and families. Coco Lanta is located directly on the beach but be aware that in the sea of Klong Khong Beach are quite a few rocks. So it’s nice that this resort has a swimming pool. This allows children to swim carefree. The owners and staff of this resort do their bit for the environment by, among other things, giving you the opportunity to fill your water bottle for free. If you are looking for a good location that also thinks about the future of our planet, we advise you to book a few nights here!
The Lanta Castaway Beach Resort is located on the calmer part of Long Beach on Koh Lanta, also called Phra Ae Beach. Here you can relax in a neat and not too expensive luxury resort. The detached or semi-detached bungalows are situated in a beautifully maintained garden. The staff is very friendly and extremely helpful, a nice holiday feeling guaranteed! Nearby you will find numerous restaurants and bars and a 7-Eleven. There are several bungalows, such as the Beachcomber Bungalows which are 20 meters from the beach. 30 to 60 meters away the beach are the Sea Breeze Bungalows and the Cozy Casa – and Tropical Daze Bungalows. In any case, the sound of the sea is never far away!
Not far from Relax Bay Beach and Lanta Animal Welfare is the Chaw Ka Cher Tropical Lanta Resort. A resort where you can easily stay for a week. The location is super central because you almost sleep in the middle of the island. The resort is therefore close to the junction to Old Town, in the east of Koh Lanta. The helpful team is always there for you and shows you the way! All rooms are very spacious and equipped with an extra large double bed. This resort has a very good value for money!
YUMMY
If you sleep in this resort (or actually anywhere on Lanta) go eat at Yang Garden. it’s only a 5 minute walk! We are big fans of this restaurant, and as far as we are concerned it is one of the best restaurants in Koh Lanta!

In the north of Klong Dao Beach lies the Laguna Beach Club Resort. A nice spacious resort because the cottages are not so close together. You can choose to sleep at the beach or somewhere else on the terrain. You can also book the family penthouse for five people. Handy if you are travelling with a group or as a family. Besides the fact that this resort is located right by the sea, there is also a swimming pool so you can swim all day carefree.
Almost next to the 7-Eleven and just before entering Kantiang Bay is the Kantiang Oasis Resort! And even though this resort is so centrally located, you’ll sleep in an oasis of tranquility because the resort is located in a beautifully maintained garden. This means you won’t sleep along the road and you’ll be on the beach in a few minutes! Not only is the garden neatly maintained, also the rooms look very neat and tidy. In the village Kantiang you can find nice restaurants like Pad Thai Rock n Roll and Drunken Sailors.

Koh Lanta is a lovely island to explore by scooter or car. You bypass the high taxi prices and you can visit nice places at your leisure. We have a very good experience with Lanta Sky. You can rent a scooter or car from them that they bring and pick up again when it suits you best. If you want to rent a car you have to leave your passport, that is Koh Lanta everywhere. Renting a scooter without your passport is often possible when you pay a few thousand baht deposit. Are you going to Mu Koh Lanta National Park? Then ask for a powerful scooter, especially if you want to go with two people on a scooter. The roads to the National Park go up a lot and that calls for some extra power.
