B2 Mae Hong Son Premier Hotel
A great hotel with pool just outside the center of Mae Hong Son town.
Right in the middle of our Mae Hong Son loop, we stopped in the eponymous town of Mae Hong Son, the capital of Mae Hong Son province. We chose to rest here for several nights and take our time to get to know this town better. We already knew the “brand” B2 because of our network and decided to spend a few nights at the B2 Mae Hong Son Premier Hotel.
Where is B2 Mae Hong Son Premier Hotel located?
B2 Mae Hong Son Premier Hotel is conveniently located in the western part of the city and just a short walk or drive from the city center. The hotel is located on Siri Mongkol Road, a short drive from several interesting sights and attractions, such as Namtok Mae Surin National Park and Nong Chong Kham Public Park. By car or scooter, you’re also right on a connecting road that leads you further up the Mae Hong Son loop to Pai or Khun Yuam, among others. Mae Hong Son town is surrounded by beautiful nature, which makes for a relaxing atmosphere.
One of the good things about the location is that the hotel is very close to the city center of Mae Hong Son. In a short walk of less than 15 minutes, you can visit different restaurants, stores and bars. Small tip, visit Wat Chong Khan during sunset, this temple is so incredibly beautiful during sunset!

B2 Mae Hong Son Premier Hotel is a good 3-star hotel located in Mae Hong Son town. Guests can enjoy free Wi-Fi, parking and there is a 24-hour front desk with very nice hotel staff who speak excellent English. The staff at B2 Mae Hong Son Premier Hotel is extremely friendly and helpful. They are always willing to answer your questions and help with any problems.
The hotel is frequently used by businessmen from Thailand who need to be in Mae Hong Son city or surrounding area for an appointment. We as a couple, passing through during the Mae Hong Son run, also found this hotel extremely convenient for a stop for several days. We believe that even families have a great time here.

The hotel offers 42 comfortable rooms, designed with cement and brick walls. The rooms at B2 Mae Hong Son Premier Hotel are modern and elegantly decorated. They are spacious and very clean, equipped with all the necessary amenities such as a comfortable bed, air conditioning, a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi. The bathrooms are also well maintained and equipped with free toiletries.
The B2 Mae Hong Son Premier Hotel offers five types of rooms. The cheapest but already fine option is the Superior Room of 32 m2 and a balcony. The Luxury Triple Room accommodates three to even four people, and the Presidential Suite is the very largest at a whopping 58 m2!

Our room, the Presidential Suite
During our stay, we were offered the Presidential Suite Room. A ground floor clean and huge room with a terrace almost all around. We had a huge work area where we could get some work done and the bathroom consisted of a freestanding shower and bathtub. We will definitely return here when we visit Mae Hong Son town!
The facilities at the B2 Mae Hong Son Premier Hotel
As mentioned, there is free Wi-Fi throughout and the hotel also has an outdoor pool, something that many hotels in the region do not have. The huge parking lot is ideal for guests like us, our car was right in front of our room. The front desk is open 24 hours a day, which is a big plus for late arrivals or early departures.
Unfortunately, no breakfast is served with the overnight stay; there is not even a restaurant or coffee shop to be found in the hotel. Fortunately, there is plenty nearby, such as the familiar 7-Eleven just a ten-minute walk away. That, by the way, is also the distance from downtown to the hotel.
