AT-MOSPHERE ROOFTOP CAFE
Did you know that you can order a drink from a rooftop cafe within five minutes from Khao San Road? And even though At-Mosphere Rooftop Cafe is not the highest sky bar or rooftop bar in Bangkok, it is certainly atmospheric! You don’t pay skyrocketing prices for a drink or snack and the staff are extremely friendly! At-Mosphere Rooftop Cafe is a cozy location where you and your local Thai can enjoy a pleasant evening under the (star) sky of Bangkok!

Where can you find At-Mosphere Rooftop Cafe?
You will find At-Mosphere Rooftop Cafe two blocks away parallel to Khao San Road. With a solid pass you can be there within five minutes. Upon arrival you will be faced with a building in which The Secret Service and At-Mosphere are located. The Secret Service is not a secret FBI or CIA project but a bed & breakfast. The At-Mosphere, which opened in 2016, is on the roof. Since there is no elevator in the building you still have to climb a few stairs to the fifth floor, but that is a small effort for what you get in return! At-Mosphere is a nice and cozy location where you can spend a nice time with the local Thai in addition to a number of tourists!
Snack, drink and music
At-Mosphere Rooftop Cafe is open from 18:00 – 01:00 and has a menu with Thai and Western dishes such as Spare Ribs and Gyozas. There is also, especially for the specialty beer enthusiast, an extensive beer list with special beers. Such as a Mahanakhon or a Stone Head Hazelnut beer. There is live music every day, with two different sessions being planned Wednesday through Sunday, each lasting an hour and a half. The first starts at 8 p.m. and the second at 10 p.m. On Mondays and Tuesdays there is a music session between 9 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. No shortage of good music!
YUMMY!

What is there to see from the At-Mosphere roof?
From At-Mosphere Rooftop Cafe you can see various tourist attractions such as the Wat Saket (Golden Mount) and the Wat Bowonniwet. At-Mosphere also gives you a glimpse into the Banglamphu district. Known for Khao San Road and the quieter Rambuttri Road, but the entire neighborhood is worth a visit! This area has virtually no tall buildings and here you can find the more authentic Bangkok. We recommend that you sleep in this cozy area for a few nights!

For a good price you can rent a good bike at Velo Thailand where you can cycle through this neighborhood at your own pace. We really enjoyed doing this. This way you discover more of the real Bangkok without having to travel with a group. Read our article about ‘Biking thru Bangkok‘.
