If you go on holiday to Thailand, chances are that you will spend the night in Bangkok. Take a few days off from the jet lag and of course discover the megacity of Bangkok! Even if you go backpacking and don’t know where else to go yet. It is nice to book the first few nights in advance. It is great to be able to ‘land’ somewhere after a long flight without having to search for a good accommodation first.

With a virtual iced coffee and/or book your accommodation stay and domestic Thailand trips through our affiliate links. Click on the link that applies to you and then book the hotel, resort or hostel of your choice: Booking.com, Agoda or HostelWorld. It doesn’t have to be an accommodation that we recommend on our site, not even in Thailand. Through 12GoAsia you can book a trip by bus, taxi, mini van, boat or train when traveling in Thailand. For plane tickets we use SkyScanner. When you book via one of the links we receive a small commission and it won’t costs you nothing extra. Thanks!
Budget, mid-range or (super) luxury
Maybe you are looking for a hotel with a swimming pool, a cozy boutique hotel or cheap hostel. Important when choosing a hotel, of course, is your budget. Bangkok has a number of popular neighborhoods to sleep in. The neighborhood where you want to sleep largely determines the price of your accommodation. Prices to sleep in the center are higher than hotels outside the center. Just like any other country in the world, prices are higher in high season. In Bangkok, prices are highest from December to February. The advantage of Bangkok and and all of Thailand is that prices are much lower compared to western hotels.
